Since the boys are still so young, they are more involved in the gutting of the pumpkins than the actual carving. Both of them were really into it!
C wanted to examine the pumpkin's insides first.

P was more than happy to handle "cleanin' out the gunk" in his pumpkin right away.

C got comfortable with the "gunk" pretty quickly. too.

Daddy A and I (mostly Daddy A, though) finished up the pumpkins after the boys were in bed.
We ended up with this for P

and this for C.

P ended up deciding that his jack o'lantern was James, so we used a red light inside to make it look like a red train. Both boys were very pleased with their jack o'lanterns!
