ordinary days

These pictures are all the way back in August, from the first Thursday of school. The boys were very excited that afternoon, because Thursday is Daddy's day off, and he picked them up in the car rider line. They love to be car riders - usually they go to after school for about 45 minutes and do their homework while they wait for me to be done for the day.

After a quick snack, it was business as usual (for the school year, anyway). A little homework and some piano practice time.

Even early in the school year, the routine was off to a strong start!
