in which we return to Busch Gardens, go to Fredericksburg, and visit with friends

Before we left Virginia Beach, we made a half day stop at Busch Gardens and met up with our friends again. As usual, the park and the company were both hits!

From Busch Gardens, we traveled on to Fredericksburg for a short visit with family there. The boys jumped right into their summer routine of homemade popsicles and outdoor play.

We let P stay up late, because we knew some great family friends were coming by. P and their son, also named P, spent some screen time together.

P also decided that he wanted an iPod for Christmas, and together they looked up the cost. Oh, and then P told me he wanted a "real" iPod with a screen, not just one that plays music... so he wanted a "more expensive one". Good to know, bud. I'll keep it in mind.
