I don't have a lot of pictures from soccer this fall, but Daddy A did take a few. At this particular game, C was out of town, but P played and had a great game! He really likes to play offense, but he's a great defensive player. Just before this first shot, he jumped up and blocked the ball with his chest. {In our league, goalies are not allowed to use their hands until they move up to the 7 and up divisions.} I also enjoy this first photo because you can see how P chose a blue insert for his right shinguard and a red insert for his left shinguard. He outgrew his old shinguards and got new ones this fall, and he chose these customizable ones, I assume because he knows how important fashion is out on the soccer field.
Later in the game, P got to play on the front line with two of his good friends. That was quite a treat. He had just gotten a fancy fruit punch flavored mouthguard, and he was having a bit of trouble leaving it alone. Thankfully that got better as the season continued.
P had fun on the field, and we all enjoyed a great game!
