fun with crafts

Around Saint Patrick's Day, Grandma Paige and Poppa Fred came for a visit.  P wanted their help with a school project.  He had asked his teacher if he could give a presentation on some of the things he learned a Grandparent Camp when the second grade studied the Civil War, and Grandma Paige and Poppa Fred agreed to come and see the presentation and help him pass out cookies and share some information.

Not to be outdone, C asked his teacher of Grandma and Poppa Fred could come and visit C's kindergarten classroom.  Grandma selected a book to read, and together we all came up with this craft that C's class could complete.  C "helped" make a sample ahead of time.  :)
