C's teachers knelt beside him for their photo, just like they did on the first day of kindergarten, so we could see how much taller he had grown this year.
At the school assembly, C got the "Homework Hero" award, and P got the "Writing Award".
Then second grade went to a separate room to do their "Red Carpet Awards". These awards were voted on by their classmates. P received the "Ravenous Reader" award from his peers.
With minimal pleading, P agreed to do an end of the year photo with his teacher, too.
The boys both had a great year at school... here's hoping first and third grade are every bit as amazing!
