New Vision Church's Fall Festival

Saturday, October 23rd, Daddy A and I took the boys and our friend Chelsea to the Fall Festival at New Vision Church in Conover. We're friends with the pastors there, and it was neat to support their church while having some fun! (This is fall festival number 2, if you're keeping count.)

The boys (mainly P) were adamant about wearing their costumes. It was pretty warm out, but we gave them the go ahead (and packed a change of clothes) and Daddy A and I entered the festival with Boots the Monkey and Swiper the Fox, two of the characters from Dora the Explorer.

About a half hour in, Swiper and Boots went to the car and P and C returned in "street clothes" for some fun in the "bouncy house".

Both of the boys got their faces painted (P more than once!).

C was loving the "pumpkin patch," while P was happier to use foam stickers and a small flag to decorate a pumpkin of his own.

We enjoyed our time together in the great outdoors on an unseasonably warm October day!
