one of many fall festivals

Friday night of the weekend before Halloween, we headed downtown to a fall festival for New Dimensions, a charter school in Morganton. They were advertising at P's preschool, so we decided to swing by for some games and entertainment. I'll hit a few of the highlights in this post.

C chose a very patriotic tattoo for his right ankle.


P had the chance to get his face painted by one of the school's art teachers. After looking through the pictures of possibilities, he was quite certain he wanted to be Spiderman. I'm still kind of confused, because I didn't know that he knew who Spiderman was, but he was very happy with his decision.

P also really enjoyed this game, which involved using a spray bottle of water to put out the lights inside some jack o'lanterns.

It was the first of several fall festivals we attended - October was a month full of parties for our family!
