Backyard Bible Club

One of our stories for Wednesday afternoon rotation at church was The Prodigal Son. For the cooking center, the kids made "pig slop" with chocolate pudding, gummy worms, and all manner of deliciously bad for you processed treats mixed in a bowl. I think it may have confused some of the little cherubs when they tasted that and heard from the teacher that it was very sad for the son when he was so hungry he thought about eating the pigs' food. Maybe we should have clarified that the food in the Bible story was actually slop. Oh, well. All the students had fun!
